County Public Hearing, February 25, 2025, at 11 a.m.

The County of St. Paul No. 19 and the Town of St. Paul have prepared a draft Area Structure Plan (ASP) for the area north of the Town of St. Paul. The purpose of an Area Structure Plan is to provide a framework for subsequent subdivision and development of an area of land.  The draft ASP is now moving through the adoption process, in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Government Act.

The County will hold a public hearing on Bylaw 2025-02, for the purpose of adopting the St. Paul North Intermunicipal Area Structure Plan, in accordance with Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, as amended.

A Public Hearing will be held where persons claiming to be affected by the adoption of the Area Structure Plan may voice their concerns. If you wish to speak for or against the proposed bylaw, contact Betty Richard at [email protected], before 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 21, 2025, to attend the meeting.  Concerns may also be given via written submissions mailed, emailed ([email protected]), or delivered to the County Office prior to the Public Hearing.

At the Public Hearing, the Chair shall hear representation first from people who claim to be directly affected by the proposed rezoning, followed by any other person who wishes to speak.
